Darke County Deputies arrest man who was in possession of guns & cocaine after pursuit.

On August 29th, 2011 at 04:19 hours, Darke County Sheriff's Deputies were dispatched to Arcanum Bears Mill Rd and

Horatio Harris Creek Rd in reference to a male subject passed out in his vehicle.

When deputies arrived, the 24 year old male suspect from Greenville took off in his vehicle. Darke County Deputies proceeded after Bowels attempting to stop him, but the suspect failed to stop for Deputies.

A short pursuit then started leading into the City of Greenville, where the Greenville Police Department assisted in the pursuit. After a short while, the suspect  stopped his vehicle and bailed out of the vehicle where a short foot pursuit ensued. The suspect was apprehended and Deputies then conducted a search of the vehicle.

Deputies located three handguns, a rifle, two flat screen televisions, cocaine and drug paraphernalia. The suspect was transported to the Darke County Jail where he is being held on felony charges.
