Early morning Sunday, Oct. 9, the Hocking County Sheriff ’s Office was contacted by Hocking Valley Community Hospital in Logan
According to Sheriff Lanny North, detectives obtained a search warrant for the suspect’s residence. The suspect refused to answer the door, so the Logan-Hocking Special Response Team responded, utilizing tear gas to force the suspect out of the residence.
The 40 year old suspect was arrested and charged with Sexual Battery. His son,age 21 is charged with failure to comply with the order or signal of an officer.
During the course of the investigation, detectives learned both men were undocumented workers. They were using fake identification from Mexico
Both were transported to the Southeastern Ohio Regional Jail to await their initial appearance in Hocking County Municipal Court.
The Department of Immigration & Custom Enforcement (ICE) has placed detainers the two individuals.
