Muskingum and Guernsey County Deputies work together to make arrest.

On 2/1/2012 the Muskingum County Sheriffs Office took a report of a menacing by stalking. It was learned through the investigation that the suspect was out on bond from Guernsey County on 7 felony counts of B&E and Receiving stolen property. There was also a warrant out for this person. The suspect was out on bond with house arrest, had cut his monitor off and had stolen a Kubota RTV. Guernsey County advised that our victim was in danger of being kidnapped or killed by this suspect.
Deputies from our office and the Guernsey County Sheriffs Office worked together to locate this suspect. Through information they gathered it was determined that the suspect could be hiding out at a camp site in Guernsey County. On 2/3/2012, Deputies from both agencies closed in on the suspect who was believed to be hiding in an out building. A K-9 warning was issued and the suspect gave up without incident. A Kubota RTV was located near this building and it was discovered that it was stolen out of a burglary in Coshocton County.

This suspect is looking at several counts in Coshocton, Guernsey and Muskingum Counties. These deputies went to great lengths and worked very well together to apprehend a dangerous suspect that had violated the law in 3 counties.
