Gallia County Sheriff Joe Browning says that deputies and BCI agents have arrested a Crown City, Ohio man and charged him with Obstructing Official Business in connection with the search for Meigs county murder suspect James E. Gardner.
Gallia Deputies and Ohio BCI&I agents have been in the area looking for Gardner for questioning about his father’s death. Sheriff Joe Browning is asking for the public to contact law enforcement if they have information relating to James E. Gardner’s location. The Sheriff warned that anyone helping or assisting Gardner will be charged. In the case of the man mentioned above, he had been providing transportation and shelter to Gardner. BCI agents will be consulting with Gallia County Prosecutor Jeff Adkins for further charges against the man.
