Marion County Deputies arrest three suspects for breaking and entering.






On July 14th The Marion County Sheriff’s Office responded to the 6400 Block of Smeltzer Rd for a report of a suspicious vehicle parked in the roadway. Upon arrival deputies located three subjects coming out of the corn field. It was determined through further investigation they had committed a breaking and entering to a barn in the area.
The three subjects were arrested and transported to the sheriff’s office where further investigation was conducted.




It was discovered that these subjects had participated in several thefts from buildings and barns in the Marion County area over the course of several months. It is estimated they had committed over sixty thefts in Marion County in over eighty visits. Sheriff’s Office detectives then traveled to Columbus, Ohio and were assisted by the Columbus Police Department and served a search warrant at the home of the three subjects located at 781 Miller Avenue Columbus, Ohio. At this location detectives recovered a large amount of stolen property.
