Washington County seizes Hydrocodone and "bath salts" during execution of search warrant.

The Washington County Sheriff reports that on July 15, 2011 Agents of the Washington County Major Crimes Task Force executed a search warrant at a Marietta, Ohio business. The following items were seized:  Over 500 packages of various types of “bath salts”; display cabinets and other items utilized to market the “bath salts”; $10,800 in cash; a 2000 Ford F350 truck; a 1993 Chevrolet; a pill bottle containing one hundred 10 mg Hydrocodone schedule III (Vicodin) pills; a computer and other business records.



The suspect was arrested for Tampering with Drugs and Possession of Hydrocodone (Vicodin) pills without an authorized prescription.  He remains incarcerated in the Washington County Jail pending an appearance in Marietta Municipal Court on Monday.  The evidence and information seized is being analyzed and will be sent forward to the Prosecuting Attorney for further action.

The suspect was interviewed and advised he was making about $4,000 a day with a profit margin of over 80 percent.
