Hocking County Sheriff Lanny E. North reports that on March 22, 2012 deputies stopped a male, age 23, of Logan, Ohio for a traffic violation. During the stop, deputies discovered that the man was in possession of 25.5 pills, which were later identified as Oxycodone 30 mg. hydrochloride. Sholten had attempted to hide the drugs in his shorts, but the pills and their cellophane wrapper had become dislodged from inside his shorts and were discovered by deputies.
The man was arrested and charged with Possession of Drugs (F-3) for possession of a controlled substance in a bulk amount and Tampering with Evidence (F-3).
