Following an investigation, Deputy Sheriff Brockmeier arrested two suspects last night on a third degree felony charge of sexual battery. A male age 45, of, Marietta, and his live-in girlfriend age 30, are accused of sexually assaulting a fifteen year old female family member on three occasions beginning in late 2010.
The victim stated she engaged in various sexual acts with both suspects while she visited their residence on those multiple occasions. Questioned about the allegations, The female suspect admitted being involved in sexual acts with the teenager and the male during the three incidents. Though he would not make any specific statements about what transpired, the male commented that what the victim said happened, did happen.
Both suspects are being held without bond pending their initial court appearance this afternoon.
