Washington County Deputies arrest two for trafficking in drugs and a misdemeanor charge of solicitation.

An advertisement on a on-line classifieds site led to the arrests of two suspects at a local hotel last night. Utilizing a confidential informant, Agents of the Major Crimes Task Force arranged to meet with a 19 year old female and a 25 year old male at a local hotel. The male offered that in exchange for $280 he and the female would perform sexual acts on the informant all night. Additionally, the male suspect offered to sell the informant twenty hydrocodone pills.

When the suspects met the informant at the hotel, the two parties discussed what acts would be performed and negotiated a price of $400 for both the hydrocodone pills and the sexual acts. Once the currency was exchanged both suspects were arrested on a felony charge of trafficking in drugs and a misdemeanor charge of solicitation.

Both suspects are incarcerated in the Washington County Jail in lieu of $3,000 bond.
