Wayne County Deputies arrest man for manufacturing of methamphetamine.

Tuesday night the Wayne County Sheriff’s tactical response team provided assistance to the MEDWAY drug enforcement unit. This assistance came in the execution of a search warrant at a Plain Township residence. Upon serving the warrant agents recovered a large amount of chemicals and components used in the manufacturing of methamphetamine. A resident of the home was arrested and charged with illegal manufacturing of drugs. The man has a history of similar behavior. Several other occupants of the home were also detained and may be charged with additional crimes as the investigation continues.
In the past two months MEDWAY has been involved with eight methamphetamine labs in the Wayne County area.
