Wayne County deputies arrest man for theft of truck.

A 28 year old Smithville man was arrested by Wayne County Sheriff’s deputies after he was found to be in possession of a stolen 2011 Ford F350. The truck had been reported stolen from East Union Twp in Wayne County.

The man was stopped by a highway patrol trooper near the intersection of I-71 and state route 83 in Medina County.

Wayne County deputies were called to the scene and the suspect was interviewed and confessed to his involvement in the crime.

The man was arrested and transported to the Wayne County Jail.
