The Hocking County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of a 21 year old Logan man for breaking and entering on September 4, 2011.
In the early morning hours of September 4, deputies while on patrol discovered that several area churches had been broken into, churches were:
Voice of Faith Temple, Walnut Dowler Rd. Logan
Christian Baptist Church, Walnut Dowler Rd. Logan
Mount Tabor Church, State Route 664, Logan
Antioch Alliance Church, Antioch Rd. Logan
During the investigation, deputies identified a suspect and as a result of the investigation he was connected to the breaking and entering of the Antioch Alliance Church. The man is charged with one count of breaking and entering, one count of possession of criminal tools and one count of theft. Viand will appear in Hocking County Municipal Court for his initial appearance on September 6, 2011.
Evidence gathered from the scenes will be sent to the BCI crime lab for processing. Upon receiving the results, detectives will confer with the County Prosecutor’s office concerning additional charges.
