On September 2nd, Preble County deputies responded to a stabbing incident near West Manchester in northern Preble County. Investigation into the case resulted in the arrest of a 33 year old male of Arcanum, Ohio.
The suspect was charged with (1) count of Felonious Assault and (1) count of Tampering with Evidence. The stabbing took place after the suspect and the victim were in an argument over employment. Prior to his arrest, the suspect disposed of the knife used in the assault. The knife was later recovered after the suspect admitted to the assault
