Muskingum & Morgan County deputies arrest woman for robbery after she makes threats of having a pipe bomb.

On Monday evening a female entered a Muskingum County gas station wanting to rob the store. The female threatened the clerk saying she had a pipe bomb under her jacket. The clerk did not believe her and the female suspect ended up leaving with nothing being taken.

Later in the night, at about 1050pm, the clerk from the same station called and said that she thought that the suspect was back in the parking lot. Muskingum County deputies responded however the suspect vehicle had left the lot. As Deputies searched the area they also contacted the Morgan County Sheriffs Office to watch for the suspect vehicle.

A short time later, Morgan County Deputies stopped a vehicle matching the suspect vehicle description. Two females in the car matched the description of the suspect from the earlier robbery attempt. After being questioned, one of the females confessed to the earlier robbery attempt. Both females are in custody at this time awaiting charges.
